carousel is stuck in my headdd.
Sooo Boston was really fun ... we were there for literally 10 hours, 4 of which were spent sleeping, but it was a lot of fun. It only took us an hour and a half, and we ended up hanging out and playing beer pong with some of Lee's friends at their apartment. Their place was sick-- they built a keg in their living room and have this insane table for pong. After we chilled with them we walked down to the Charles River docks, which was gorgeous. I wish I was more awake to enjoy it!
Saw Always .. Patsy Cline last night at our theater and it was adorable! The space is great and I'm really excited to put Carousel up. Our costume designer got in last night and he's awesome .. his initials are D.W. and that's the name he goes by, so we had an immediate connection. He just designed the costumes for Broadway Bares, and they looked FUCKING FIERCE.
Seth called last night and we talked for awhile .. I feel like he's watching me, because as soon as I start to get involved with someone else, he calls and we have a great convo and things feel like the way they used to be. I really do miss him. He's gonna be in New York for like 3 hours when he goes to Europe and it's killing me that I'm not gonna be able to see him. Sigh.
But I really. Really. REALLY. Like Lee.

new hampshire: take two.
Big party last night! Lots and lots of fun. We drank too much, sucked at beer pong and bonded nicely. I have a serious thing for Lee .. we are absolutely retarded together but in a really, really adorable way. I think we're going down to Boston tonight cuz he wants some stuff from his apartment and we have the day off tomorrow .. who knew it's only an hour and a half away! Should be tons of fun.

new hampshire: take one.
So I'm finally up in New Hampshire. And so far, I really am enjoying it!
We're pretty far into Carousel at this point; we know all of our choral group music and have blocked the prologue and June, which are the two biggest things in the show. And we've been rehearsing for 3 days. CRAZY! It's kinda sick to say, but I think I'm gonna be bored of this show come next week. I mean , we don't even open till July 1st. But we'll see how it all goes. The director is awesome; he has every single little thing mapped out for every single ensemble member to do. We're all featured at some point, which is nice, and he really has a good grasp on ensembles and how we have to do our part just as much as the main characters have to do theirs.
So far, everyone in the cast is great. Very professional, gets their work done, knows what they're doing. I always feel really weird in the first couple days of meeting people, but I'm slowly settling in. We had our first party last night to watch the NBA Finals (sorry Seth, I really was rooting for the Lakers) and it was great. All the guys (which most of them happen to be straight-- uhhh, what?! ) are really awesome. Like brotherly awesome. Except there's one who's definitely gonna be more than a brother ... =D ahah, things are moving along well with him for only having been here 3 days (his name is Lee for those of you who are interested) and he's pretty awesome. He's our TD and he goes to Emerson with our stage manager Davin, who my roommate Ashley (who I love!) is after. So we both have our little conquests, lol. We'll see where this all goes!
I'll update as much as possible, but I'm not honestly sure how much there will be to update about. And btw, the food is awesome-- like better than Pace's cafeteria. So I like that I'm eating healthy and for free this summer! Woo!

shut up and drive. ..
I love driving. My mom's been really good about letting me which is AWESOME. But I'm getting better and better and I love ittttttt. Yay!
Went to the high school today to rehearse for our yearly Theater Award ceremony .. they're bringing back "Lotta Livin" from Bye Bye Birdie which we did my sophomore year. The dance is literally 8 minutes long and brought back SO many memories when we were doing it. I pretty much remembered the whole thing, cuz its completely ingrained in my brain. But needless to say, I got a great workout and had lotsa fun! =)
Leaving in 9 days. So excited. I think it's really starting to hit me that I'm going and I've been dreaming about this for so long. I started Facebook stalking people that are going and adding them and what not. If I'm not completely toned by the time I come back at the end of the summer I'm gonna be pissed at myself, haha. I can't wait. I really can't.
